Truly Amazing

Hi, I have a new layout made with inspiration from ARTastic May challenge and artwork by Cathy McClelland called Tap Dancer.  This layout is made with  A2Z Scraplets Truly Amazing word  and 

flourish_40 and flowers of course!

A2Z Scraplets were both painted in Vermillion paint then microbeads applied. The A2Z Scraplet Truly Amazing had microbeads applied and the rest of the word coated in Glossy Accents.

The layout was assembled with die cut flowers, Kaisercraft cardstock embellishments, resin hearts, and jewels.

Sunshine Coast

I have a new layout for Scrap the Boys May challenge

 using the A2Z Scraplets Sunshine Coast and

Stone wall texture piece.

I prepared the background to this layout by applying transparent gesso and ink. The printed tissue paper was attached with matt medium.

Dies cuts, plaster tape and woven paper were added to the background. The A2Z Scraplet Sunshine Coast was painted in Cobolt blue acrylic paint. It was then coated in glossy accents and white paint pen used to highlight. The piece of the A2Z Scraplet texture wall was painted with acrylic paint then silver leaf added in some places.

The layout was completed with embellishments including Kaisercraft veneer, Coco Vanilla stickers, Corbett design acrylic drops and heart, Nuvo drops and crosses from my stash.

Happy Mothers Day

Wishing all mothers a very happy mothers day and

with a layout for this months A2Z Scraplets papercraft challenge.

I've used two A2Z Scraplets in my layout here. They are A Mothers Love Scripty Word  and heart flourish.

I first prepared the background by tearing and layering papers. I then applied modelling paste through a stencil.

I prepared the flourish by cutting into pieces, and painting with white acrylic paint. I sprinkled glass pieces over the heart shape.

My A2Z Scraplet title A mother's Love was painted, then covered in silver gilding flakes.

I layered tulle, tags, silk leaves, and cardstock under my photo together with the chipboard.

I then placed my cardstock photo matts and photo.

The layout was completed with embellishments including sequin bow, flair and resin heart, ribbon flowers & tag from my stash. Come and join the challenge over here.

Adorable

This layout uses A2Z Scraplet Adorable 2 word and Chicken Wire Shape.

The chicken wire shape was cut, then painted in acrylic paint. The Adorable word was coated in gilding flakes..

The background was stenciled and stamped. Coco Vanilla embellishments and butterflies were added.

Scrap the girls May challenge

This is my layout for Scrap The Girls challenge for May. 

I've used Kaisercraft paper for this layout and layered a variety of fabric, die cuts that have been embossed with Stampendous Aged embossing powder, and chipboard over a painted and stamped background.

I've used the birthday girl T-Shirt from the mood board as my inspiration that I have copied and printed on to my page. I've also used this to make a flair.

Plenty of time to join the challenge over here!

I finished my layout with additional embellishments including resin hears, padded heart and beads from my stash, and some metal crown, feather and key.
