Scrap the boys August challenge

Here is a layout I made for this months
Scrap the boys challenge which has a wild theme.

For this layout I've used A2Z Scraplets word Adventure Awaitsarrow from arrow set 100 shape and scalloped background shape.

The background was made by applying paint, stenciling and stamping.

I cut my A2Z Scraplet scalloped background shape into pieces then inked them. I then arranged that on the page. I also inked an A2Z scraplet arrow in the same manner.

I painted the A2Z Scraplet Adventure Awaits with acrylic paint, drew around the edges in black sharpie and added black distress ink.

Die cuts and art stones were also used for embellishment.

Cheers!

Scrap the boys July challenge

Here is my take on Scrap the boys challenge for July. It's all about stars!

To make this layout, I hand cut my stars and sewed around them. I then splattered ink, then attached coordinating cardstock to "color" my stars.

I used  A2Z Scraplets Stars Li'l Range and A2Z Scraplets Happiness Is word and painted them in metallic paint.

With my A2Z Scraplets, a few embellishments (Coco Vanilla) and photo, my page was done!

Cheers!

Sunshine Coast

I have a new layout for Scrap the Boys May challenge
using the A2Z Scraplets Sunshine Coast and

I prepared the background to this layout by applying transparent gesso and ink. The printed tissue paper was attached with matt medium.

Dies cuts, plaster tape and woven paper were added to the background. The A2Z Scraplet Sunshine Coast was painted in Cobolt blue acrylic paint. It was then coated in glossy accents and white paint pen used to highlight. The piece of the A2Z Scraplet texture wall was painted with acrylic paint then silver leaf added in some places.

The layout was completed with embellishments including Kaisercraft veneer, Coco Vanilla stickers, Corbett design acrylic drops and heart, Nuvo drops and crosses from my stash.

Cheers!

Amazing Scrap the boys April Challenge

This layout has been prepared for Scrap the boys challenge using A2Z Scraplets Amazing border word and chain mesh texture 8x8 inch

This challenge was about using geometric shapes and the A2Z Scraplets chain mesh chipboard matched my Couture Creations die, Kaisercraft stamp and Kaisercraft and In my Minds Eye pattered papers which I've teamed up here.

I prepared the A2Z Scraplet chain mesh by cutting it into a few pieces. I still have quite a bit left over to use in another layout. I coated the pieces in patina paste and sprinkled blue micro beads into the paste.

My A2Z Scraplet Amazing word border which I've used as a title was painted in teal acrylic paint. After drying, I applied Versa Mark ink to the base of the letters and sprinkled  Stampendous Hunter Aged distress embossing powder, then heat set.

The background to the layout was made by stamping using a Kaisercraft stamp "Morocco" and Versa fine ink in Teal Zeal. I then fussy cut some Graphic 45 images and glued  these to my page. I die cut cardstock and applied embossing powder to the die cuts. I also used some baseball rub-ons to my layout.

I splattered paint over the completed layout and applied additional embellishments including Coco Vanilla flair and veneers.

Cheers!

Scrap the Boys February Challenge

I have a new layout made with two A2Z Scraplets, the "Dotty Twig Frame" and "Chicken wire shape" using inspiration from Scrap the Boys February Challenge (and my favorite colors!).

I've cut the A2Z scraplet "Dotty Twig Frame", inked it with black Versafine ink, and placed the piece to frame my photo. I also inked the chicken wire shape in the same manner and placed pieces under the photo and under the page where I have torn.

I've used Kaisercraft paper to which I've applied acrylic paint in turquoise and white. I've then stamped over this with a variety of stamps to make the background for this page.

To finish my page, I have layered Kaisercraft collectables, veneer shapes and cardstock under my photo. I've also added bakers twine, Coco Vanilla flair and Kaisercraft diecut words.

Cheers!

This is what awesome looks like

My new layout has been completed with inspiration provided by Scrap the Boys, that required flowers be used in the layout.

Ive used A2Z Scraplets "This is what awesome looks like" and Pipeworks texture shape on my layout.  The pipeworks texture shape was cut into sections, painted in Swellegant paint and highlighted to define pipe sections.
I then heat embossed using Verdigris embossing powder.
My chipboard title was painted in Swellegant Iron paint then rust powder was applied.
The page was completed with die cuts from a Memory box small pipes die and flowers.
